The residential area already excavated is only a small part of the 7ha that constitutes the total Tongobriga’s residential area.

We’ve already found several insulae. We highlight two domus with impluvium. Some Roman houses of the 2th century were built over the pre-Roman buildings (houses with circular structure).

We estimate the population in about 2.500 to 3.000 people.
